You begin the tour with one of the most iconic temples in Egypt, the Karnak Temple, located near Luxor on the east bank of the Nile River. Built over a period of more than 2000 years, Karnak is a vast complex of temples, chapels, and halls dedicated to the worship of the gods, especially the god Amun.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Luxor Temple, located within the modern city of Luxor. Originally built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, the Luxor Temple was dedicated to the god Amun and the divine pharaohs. The temple is famous for its colossal statues of Ramses II and its avenue of sphinxes, which once connected it to the temple of Karnak.

Tourist program included in the price:

Visit to the western part of Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, etc.
After breakfast, we will begin our tour of the West Bank of Luxor, visiting the Valley of the Kings, where 62 magnificent tombs have been discovered (3 are visited). These tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the pharaoh's afterlife.

You will also visit the Great Temple of Hatshepsut. This impressive temple, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces and mirages.

Lunch on the ship and sailing to Edfu.

Dinner and overnight on the ship.

After breakfast on the ship, you will head to the Temple of Edfu, which is truly impressive in size – 36 m high, 79 m wide and 36 m long, a magnificent example of ancient Egyptian architecture. Dedicated to the god Horus, the temple was built during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt.

The construction of the Temple of Edfu began in 237 BC and was completed twenty years later under the Ptolemaic dynasty in honor of Horus. According to legend, this stone monument was built on the site of the mythical battle between Horus and Set. However, the truth is that this is the last of the series of temples erected here, having been completed under Ptolemy XII.

The main building material of the temple is sandstone. Before it was discovered, only the pylons at the entrance were visible from the desert sands. However, in the time before it was fully excavated, skilled thieves managed to steal some valuable components of the sanctuary. The inscriptions on the walls of the ancient Egyptian monument provide important information about the language, mythology and religion during the Greco-Roman period in Ancient Egypt.

Return to the ship for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo.

Visit to Kom Ombo and the temple of the god Sobek – for an additional fee
Visit the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu, which are 50 km north of Aswan in Upper Egypt. The first complex rises above the Nile River. Unlike other temples dedicated to one god, the Kom Ombo temple is dedicated to two gods: the crocodile Sobek and the falcon Horus. The Kom Ombo temple dates back to the post-pharaonic era, with its foundations laid by Ptolemy VI around 180-145 BC, and the Roman era is the time of its final completion. A characteristic feature of the Kom Ombo temple is its symmetry with respect to its main axis, with statues of the gods erected on both sides of the entrance pylon. It was built in the Hellenistic era, i.e. during the Ptolemies, and is an unusual double temple - to Sobek, the god of crocodiles, and to Horus - the god of falcons.

The symmetrical design of the temple, with double entrances and duplicate halls and sanctuaries, reflects the duality of the gods worshipped there.

Return to the ship and sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

For an additional fee, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples in Abu Simbel - the temple of Ramses II, you will make an early departure from Aswan
In the desert near Abu Simbel, in southern Egypt, lies the awe-inspiring Temple of Ramses II. Carved into a cliff face, the temple is famous for its colossal statues of Ramses II that flank the entrance. The temples of Ramses II are considered the most beautiful of all Egyptian temples and are dedicated to the sun god Ra, the gods Horus and Ptah, and the goddess Hathor. They were built in honor of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Breakfast.

Excursion included in the price:

Visiting the High Wall, the Temple of Isis from Philae Island
On the island of Philae, in the Nile River near Aswan, lies the beautiful Temple of Isis. Built during the Ptolemaic period, the Temple of Isis was the center of the cult of the goddess Isis and was renowned throughout the ancient world for its beauty and sanctity. The temple complex includes stunning reliefs, colonnades, and an elegant pavilion known as the Pavilion of Trajan.

Excursion to Cairo - The Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum.
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the famous pyramids of Giza. The pyramids of Giza have long been the most visited attraction around Cairo. Since their construction, the pyramids of Giza have embodied antiquity, mystery and given rise to incredible hypotheses. The pyramids are the only wonder of the ancient world that has survived almost intact. The funerary Great Pyramid of Cheops is the oldest in Giza and the largest in the world, built around 2500 BC from nearly 2,3 million limestone blocks, weighing an average of 2,75 tons and moved by 100,000 slaves. The three smaller pyramids in the neighborhood belong to Cheops' queens or sisters. The Sphinx is located nearby, a strange figure with the body of a lion, the face of a man and a royal beard.

You will visit a perfume factory made from natural ingredients and a factory for original papyrus along the way.

Lunch included in the price.

Visiting the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities / The Grand Egyptian Museum (entrance fee, guide and headphones included).
After lunch, you will visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities / The Grand Egyptian Museum. The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, or the Cairo Museum, was once the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing a collection of more than 120,000 artifacts dating back thousands of years. It is home to the impressive mask of Tutankhamun, mummies, colossi from ancient temples, gold jewelry, and small but perfect objects that once entertained the pharaohs. It has recently been replaced by a brand new grand museum located near the pyramids, on the outskirts of Cairo: the Grand Egyptian Museum. A must-see!
